Question:

13707 Looking for a recommendation for the proper 2 hitch adapter with rise and length configuration to clear the rear bumper and match a roughly 14.5-15.0 inch trailer tongue on 2003 Lincoln Town Car using the 13707 hitch linked above.

Hey Justin, when we installed the Curt hitch part # 13707 on a similar 2004 Lincoln Town Car to your 2003 model we found that from the top of the hitch opening to the ground measured 11 inches. So the correct amount of rise you'd want would be right at 4 inches like the ball mount # D-28 which also happens to be a longer ball mount so it would also not interfere with your rear bumper.

Thanks Jameson, Do you know the require length of ball mount extension needed to clear? Does it need to be 14" long like the mount you recommended?

@JustinS We don't have the exact length you'd need but it appears you'd need something longer. Looks like there's 6.5 inches from center of your hitch pin hole out to the rear bumper so could probably get by with something shorter like the part # TS78FR.
