Availability Of 12" Long Ball Mount With 1-1/4" Hitch Ball Hole And 3" Rise

Question:

I have a follow-up for this question about this that I am hoping you can help me with. It turns out the new travel trailer is actually lower, so I need only 3” of rise (as opposed to 4” as I initially stated). Do you have a ball mount/ball combination that could work for a 2 5/16 ball, 3” rise and 13-14.5 length (hole to hole)? Thank you!

I have an option that may work for you, but we do not have a ball mount with 4" rise, a 1-1/4" shank hole, and is 13" - 14-1/2" long.

The closest option we have is the Draw-Tite Ball Mount for 2" Hitches - 3" Rise, 4" Drop - 12" Long - 12,000 lbs # 4285 which is 12" long and has a 3" rise. For this option you would use 2-5/16" hitch ball # BWHB94003 which has a 3-1/4" long shank and has a 1" rise to get you back up to 4" total rise.

If your new trailer is under 6000lbs I recommend is keeping the Curt # D-28 you currently have and using the Convert-A-Ball Interchangeable Ball Set - 3 Balls - 1" XL Shank - Nickel # 105TB which has a 1" shank diameter and a 3" long shank.

I included videos for each of the products mentioned for you to take a look at.

We have an option that will work perfectly for you. I recommend the Brophy Ball Mount for 2" Hitch - 3/4" Rise, 2" Drop - 13-1/4" Long - 10,000 lbs # BH20 which measures 13-1/4" from the center of the hitch pin hole to the center of the ball mount hole as shown in the included diagram. While this ball mount only has 3/4" rise, using the Curt 2-5/16" Hitch Ball - 2" Rise - 1-1/4" Diameter x 2-5/8" Long Shank - 10,000 lbs # C40036 which has 2" rise will give you 2-3/4" rise total and will be perfect for your trailer. Both of these components have a 10000lb weight capacity, so you know they are plenty strong. I included videos for both of the products mentioned for you to take a look at.
