The camera system's monitor screen reduces glare when you're driving to the campsite on a bright, sunny day. Motion sensor automatically powers the monitor on so you can keep an eye on any animals or trespassers prowling outside your RV.
Features:
Specs:
Note: Will not work on 2016 and newer Mercedes Benz Sprinter or GM trucks that have PWM wiring.
After a long drive to the campground, the last thing you feel like doing is maneuvering your RV into a tight campsite space - especially in the dark! This wireless backup camera system gives you peace of mind that you'll be able to back up more safely, even at nighttime or in other low-light conditions.
If you're set up at the campsite for the weekend, the motion sensor will automatically power the touchscreen monitor on if they sense movement in the form of a prowling animal or person.
Tired of yelling back and forth to your partner out the window as you're struggling to back in at a good angle? The built-in microphone on the camera and integrated speakers on the monitor allow a spotter to relay information or instructions to you from outside your vehicle. This makes it much easier and safer for you to back up in a crowded campground.
No more wondering if you're getting too close to another vehicle, tree, curb, or your kid's bike while backing up. The rear assist marker lines take out the guesswork to avoid collisions and safely maneuver your RV. The lines are displayed in 3 different colors (green, yellow, and red) to help gauge the proximity of objects within your view.
And because this camera has 8 infrared LEDs, you'll have a clear picture even in low-light conditions at dusk or in complete darkness at night. These LEDs provide ample illumination up to 16' should you arrive at the campsite after dark and need to back up into your parking spot. And during the day, the integrated IR cut filter blocks out the infrared light during the day so you'll still be able to have crips, natural-looking images.
If it's raining out, or if you just simply need to wash your RV, the waterproof, IP65-rated camera will be protected against low-pressure water jet sprays. And if you're driving through rough country roads, the camera will resist dust and dirt from building up or getting inside.
This camera system includes a suction cup mount that you can use to stick the monitor onto your dashboard or windshield. To power the monitor, simply plug it into a 12-volt light or cigarette lighter outlet.
Because this system is wireless, installation is much easier than it would be with a wired system, as you'll only need to do minimal drilling and wiring. Just bolt the camera down with the included mounting screws and connect to your RV's reverse lights. Be sure that the camera won't interfere with any slide outs or other moving components. If you intend to use this system only for backing up, wire the camera to the reverse lights. If you prefer to use it to keep an eye on your rig on the highway, wire the camera to the running lights.

The product arrived swiftly, packaged well. Intended use for the rear of a 21 Ft Rockwood RV trailer. Our trailer was equipped with the rear hook up. My brother recommended this Furion camera (he has same one but a larger RV trailer.) This camera has made our driving and changing lanes SO much safer!! The picture is very clear! Backing up is safer also! HELPFUL HINT: Could not get the camera to work until we turned the headlights on to the "ON" position. It will NOT work if your headlights and running lights are in the "Auto" position, at least on our Dodge Ram Truck. After turning them to the "ON" position, camera started right up! Highly recommend this camera, have not tried it in the dark yet. SAFE TRAVELS!!
Installation of the Furrion Wireless rear view camera was very. My Vibe travel trailer is factory wired for a Furrion system. I removed the camera from the shark fin mount that it came in and placed it in the shark fin mount that was on my trailer from the factory. When I removed the blank cover in the factory mount a power wire with correct fitting was already in place. Mounted screen on windshield and plugged it in. The camera linked up with the screen and gave me a clear picture. Haven't tried it on a trip yet but planning to soon. Will update when I get back.
I installed this on my 2019 Keystone Passport 2670BH. Install is very simple and easy. The only thing that got me was you need to have your parking lights on for the camera it receive power. This is how the camper manufacture wired the power wire for the camera and has nothing to do with the camera itself. I am not giving it 5 stars because I have noticed that from time to time while driving the camera and the receiver will just drop connection and I have to switch off my lights and switch them back on and reboot the monitor for it to start working again. Odd but it doesn't happen often. Maybe twice on a 12 hour drive.
Having a good backup camera is a godsend on the highway. It makes changing lanes and taking turns so much easier when you can clearly see what is happening behind you. This camera does the job very well and has taken all the stress out of towing. The screen is nice and bright, and when the camera detects low light conditions, it automatically switches to a grayscale night mode so it's not blinding you as you drive. My only minor complaint is that there have been just a few times when the connection has been a bit laggy. I imagine this isn't a problem at all with a hard wired connection though. Worth every penny!
Super easy installation on a camper that already had the underlying Furrion power supply wire. Great quality picture and audio. Highly recommend this for the price!
This is a great little camera and relatively easy to install. I installed it on my 1974 Prowler in less than an hour. It should be obvious the camper was not pre-wired for a camera so I wired it into my running lights. I no longer have to look for shadows when I think a car is on my bumper. All I have to do is turn on my parking or head lights.
The camera lens gives a fish eye view, so when you see a car, it's relatively close. I bought the version with the small screen and it's fine, although I think the large one would be better.
I thought I could use the windshield mount but with progressive lense sunglasses it was giving me a headache as I was squinting to see what was on the screen as it was the distance portion of the glasses. I now keep the screen at dashboard height, so it's in my reading range and doesn't strain my eyes.
We're in the middle of a 6000 +- mile trip and a camera is working great. It really helps with visibility on the road and parking.
A word of caution: the instructions tell you to drill a 5/8 hole in the camper for the wiring. The grommet is 1/2 inch, so drill 1/2 inch hole and you won't have to source a 5/8 inch grommet.
I highly recommend the unit. Consider spending the extra for the bigger screen and mount the screen below the top of the dash.
The product was great and installed in minutes. Beautiful picture. The shipping from etrailer was lightning fast, as usual and the price was perfect.

Outstanding, loved it from day one. Beautiful picture. Accurate guidance system.
We have really enjoyed the backup camera. It would have been nice if the directions had included that we needed to turn on our headlights to run it! But, now that we know it works really well!

This gets wired to the running lights circuit, which means the camera will only be fully powered when you have the running lights turned on in your vehicle. Make sure you are not relying on the auto lights feature in the truck.
We received our Furrion Observation Camera, FOS43TASF, quickly as advertised. Our camera arrived with no damage. Installation was fast and easy on our 2018, Grand Design, Imagine, 2600RB, plug and play with the existing mount. It took maybe 20 - 30 minutes at the most to install, pair and make minor adjustments. The camera and viewer paired immediately when power was turned on. The camera turned on when the trailer parking lights were turned on. Positioned the camera so the spare tire could be seen on the observation screen to give a point of reference to the back of the camper. Received a strong signal on the pairing. We haven't driven the camper on the road yet to give a review on the workings of the the unit but, don't expect any problems. Should be a good safety feature to know what is behind us when towing. Very happy with our purchase and would recommend this product. This product from etrailer was the least expensive price I could find while researching price points. Thank you etrailer.
I want to love this, but frankly I have consistent video dropout and lag issues towing a 26-foot GD Imagine trailer in various weather conditions. I tried fully disconnecting and resetting, repositioning antennas, and praying to the antenna gods, but it's only good for about two-thirds of the time. I think "YES, finally!" and then it starts dropping out again, making me insane. Also, as far as I can tell, there is no real good antenna upgrade for this. I suspect if you have a shorter trailer, or some fancy way to beef up the signal you'll do better.

We have found that you can use part # WVOSAPANTEXT to help boost the antenna signal. Also making sure that the antenna is as high as possible will help.
This camera was everything good said in previous reviews. Good viewing, easy to sync. A snap to install (on a Furrion ready trailer). It took longer to play with the setup in the truck than mounting the camera and that's just my husband being thorough...you get that, ladies. Shipped super fast and well priced. Thank you, George!

Still very happy with it! Side note the monitor base suction cup wouldnt stick to the F350 dashboard, our short term solution, and empty plastic CD case! We had a 12 in. plexiglass piece cut, later, and keep it in the glove box.
I have the camera on the back of a travel trailer. Having a view of the road behind the trailer is indispensible and I am amazed that they are not legally required. I can also see my bikes on the back rack. The only reason I downgrade it one star is because the suction cup for the monitor in the truck often falls off the windshield.

Good camera. I gave up on the suction cup and prop the monitor up on the console, which is not ideal. It is almost impossible to see with sunglasses on.
Installed it on my new fifth wheel on the same day I got it. It paired up fast and has a great easy to see monitor. The only thing I need to look at is the power wire that was run from the trailer factory. The power comes on from the battery switch. I need to find away to turn it off when not use. If no switch, I need to put one in. Don’t need that draw on the batteries when not in use.

It’s a great product and has already saved me several hundreds of dollars by catching problems with my second trailer just behind my fifth wheel.
If you own a 22 1/2' trailer and a SUV for towing you will find the range of the signal at its max with communication between camera and receiver. Meaning many times the signal is lost or there is a delay in the image. A vehicle will already be at your driver's side door when it shows up at your bumper on the screen. The view is VERY bubbled. Other than that LOVE LOVE LOVE it! Very helpful when it comes to backing up and hearing the individual assisting with instructions. No yelling needed and no disturbing your neighbors when parking.

I recommend adding part # WVOSAPANTEXT to help boost the signal of the camera.

Everything I needed to add to my trailer. Even though the trailer came already prepped for the Furrion equipment, everything I would have needed was there. I had to find out how my travel trailer was pre-wired to feed power to the camera. My trailer was wired to the lights circuit, but did not connect with the automatic light setting, I had to switch on the lights. Can't wait to try it out on my next trip and return parking. Crossing my fingers.

After 1st year it is great. I have a hard turn to back into my yard from a busy street. Able to get it done in normally 1 try. Thumbs up.
Camera system works as advertised! Easy install. Happy with the purchase.

Camera continues to work as advertised. If I had a do over, I would have ordered the larger screen. But still happy with product
I love this camera! It is so much better than I originally thought it would be. I use it for my rearview mirror when traveling, I can see who is behind my Camper and I don't have to use the add on mirrors on my tow vehicle anymore because I can see now with the backup camera in the rear blind spot and the rest with my tow vehicles mirrors. I also can now back my travel trailer into the campsites without my wifes help and do that with only one try. It has been such a nice experience using this camera system.

I still love it! It is still awesome, I would not want to go camping without it. It has made my camping experience so much more pleasurable. If you don’t have one of these I highly recommend you get one .
I like it a lot I double a travel trailer and a atv trailer it helps me keep a eye on the trailer behind the camper and is great for changing lanes. The only thing I would do different is get the bigger monitor.
Thanks
We decided to splurge on a rear observation camera system because the one we were using lost connection so often. This Furrion still loses connection—just not quite as often. The knockoff brand had a big and bright 7” screen and was a joy to use. This Furrion’s screen is perhaps half as bright and the screen is about the size of a credit card—causing me to strain at the screen to see what’s happening behind me as I look to change lanes or make a turn or just to see if the cargo on my rear bumper rack is still in place. I consider this purchase one of the poorest decisions I’ve made in RVing.

Hey James! I am sad to read that this camera set up was such a let down, but I really appreciate your honesty and feedback. If you ever get to the point of wanting to try again, you could try part # FR47FR which is a 7 inch monitor and part # FR79SR would be the suction cup mount to fit the socket for the screen.
Super easy install if your unit is already equipped with the mounting bracket from the factory. The only thing I was not impressed with was the monitor mount. Quite restrictive if your dash is a grained texture you are pretty much restricted to mounting on the windshield which I found a bit annoying. I happened to have a CD slot mount, and we never use the CD player so I tried it. Couldn’t have found a better location!!
I needed a way to see my Indian motorcycle on a trailer behind my 40’ fifth wheel. I had Fords system when I bought my new truck, but there was much more wiring than I wanted to tackle and I was hoping for a non wired system. I bought this with my fingers crossed. Very easy installation of less than an hour and the results were what I wanted
This rear observation system was exactly what I needed to give me some eyes in the back of my towable trailer. The system communicates with a 4 bars of strength using a wireless signal between the camera, located at the back of my 24 foot long (2401RG Minnie Winnebago) trailer, and the monitor mounted in the cab of my Ford F150 XLT.
The installation was easy and only took about an hour at most.
I located the two wires feeding the center clearance light near the top of the trailer and through a new drilled hole just below the light I was able to feed in/splice in, the camera wires to get the power the camera needed. (Tip. Before this I used a pair of 6V batteries in series to get temporary power to the camera to ensure good signal back to the monitor in the truck and that a good rear view was possible from the intended mounting spot). Now I can see from the trailer's back bumper to about 35 feet behind on the road.
As usual the Etrailer team was helpful and the order arrived quickly and correctly.
Great Job Julie H. for the last minute assist to correct my order.
We purchased the Furrion FOS43TASF to use as an observation camera while towing our new 2018 26' Jayco Jay Flight travel trailer. Our Jayco came equipped with a pre-wired mount for the Furrion camera. The pre-wired black female cord for the camera was present but someone at the factory forgot to wire it to power, so when I plugged in the camera, there was no juice... I removed the center clearance light on the back of the trailer, used the supplied power cord and to feed in/splice in from the clearance light. Installation only took about 15 minutes. We already made our first trip this season and the camera worked wonderful. Great picture, no delays, very happy being able to see what's in the back and coming along the sides. We didn't use the monitor mount supplied with the Furrion, instead we used a vent phone mount I had for my phone that worked perfectly. This is our second and the best observation camera for towing a trailer we've experienced. The first one was another brand on different travel trailer we just sold. Our experience with that camera was poor picture quality, delays and blackouts. We definitely would recommend the Furrion FOS43TASF.
Camera works as advertised. Wired camera into running lights 5th wheel. Took about 45 min to layout, drill, pull wire, caulk, and mount.
I did install 3mm Diameter Snap on Ferrite Core Bead Choke Ring Cord RFI EMI Noise Suppressor Filter for USB / Audio / Video Cable Power Cord on both camera and receiver.
Receiver took about 20 min to install. I routed wires nicely, add choke rings.
I have 4 bars running 60 mph. Great purchase and very pleased.

Camera and receivers still working great. Only issue is antenna broke on camera. Purchased aftermarket router antenna 18”. Still have 4 bars.
After 1 year and many trips this camera is flawless. Works great everytime. And it was more than $100 less than the local RV dealer
