This setup keeps the front end uncluttered when the arms are off. The streamlined design eliminates the need for a quick-disconnect crossbar and places the brackets farther back, so almost nothing’s visible once you remove the drawbars. When stored, the remaining hardware sits tucked behind the grille, protected from scrapes and scuffs.
The removable arms slide into the brackets, twist to lock, and click securely into place. Built-in pull rings let you unlock and remove them in seconds. The motion is smooth and positive—easy to handle alone or on uneven ground. No tools needed and no struggle when you’re setting up to tow or disconnecting after a long drive.
Each bracket is computer-cut from solid steel and bolts directly to the frame—no welding required. The precision fit spreads towing forces evenly across the chassis for a solid, stable connection. The black powder coat finish resists corrosion and holds up well through weather, road grime, and thousands of miles behind the RV.
Everything lines up with factory mounting points for a simple bolt-on job. The kit includes detailed instructions and all mounting hardware, so you can get it done in your own garage without special tools. Once installed, the base plate fits perfectly with Roadmaster motor-home-mounted tow bars such as the Nighthawk, Sterling, Blackhawk, Blackhawk 2, Falcon, or Falcon 2.

I’ve pulled the Chevy behind our motor home several times over a the last year. It has worked excellent. And when not in tow the tubing is barely noticeable.

Which trim is your 2026 Chevy Trax? Per Roadmaster, the # RM25EQ (523228-5) fits all trims of the 2026 Trax except the ACTIV trim....
