Parts Needed to Flat Tow a 2015 Jeep Cherokee Behind a Motor Home with Falcon 2 Tow Bar

There are a few different base plate options available for your 2015 Jeep Cherokee. If you have a Trailhawk model you can use # RM-521446-4 or # RM-521446-5. And if you have a Latitude or Limited model you can use # RM-521447-4 or # RM-521447-5.

Any of the above base plates will be compatible with your Falcon 2 tow bar, # RM-520. If you need safety cables I recommend # RM-643. The coiled design helps keep the cables off of the ground.

For lighting, if you will not be towing the Jeep very often you can use a simple magnetic kit such as # RM-2120. But for a more permanent solution you can use diode kit # RM-154. I have linked a video showing how they install on a 2014 Cherokee.

And finally, most states now require supplemental braking on the vehicle being flat towed. One of the preferred systems for our installers is the SMI Stay-IN-Play DUO proportional system, # SM99251. It will apply the vehicle brakes in proportion to how much the tow vehicle is braking. This is the safest way to stop and it reduces wear and tear on both vehicles. You will also need brake light relay # RM-88400 for the lighting and braking systems to work properly.
