Yes, the Mopar flat-tow wiring kit 68321424AB is required to keep your 2018 Jeep Cherokee from death wobble if you flat tow. This can be acquired through your local Chrysler or Jeep dealership, and I would try to press them to handle it all for you since your vehicle is marketed as flat-towable as-is. We all know how dealerships are though, so if they won't install it for free I've read that it's fairly easy to install especially if you're a normal DIYer.

I'm linking a guide on parts to use for flat towing your Cherokee that you can reference. I recommend using the Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit # RM-521447-5 as a starting point for your towing kit since it's really easy to hook the tow bar up to.
