Can a 2015 Jeep Cherokee Latitude with 4 wheel drive be flat towed, and do you know the curb weight of such a vehicle?

I googled the owner's manual for a 2015 Jeep Cherokee and a 4WD can be flat towed if it has a 2-Speed Power Transfer Unit. I then googled the curb weight and it said between 3,600 lbs and 3,900 lbs. In order to flat tow your '15 Cherokee Latitude with 4WD there are a number of parts you'll need:

- Base Plate Kit: Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit # RM-521447-5

- Tow Bar: Roadmaster Falcon All Terrain, Non-Binding Tow Bar # RM-522

- Safety Cables # RM-645

- Wiring Kit: Roadmaster Universal Wiring Kit # RM-152-98146-7

- Supplemental Braking System: Demco SBS Stay-IN-Play DUO Supplemental Braking System # SM99251

- Roadmaster Battery Charge Line Kit for Towed Vehicles # RM-156-25

Finally, you will need wiring kit 68321424AB, which you'll need to get from a Jeep dealer, to power the Jeep's steering system as it is being flat towed.
