A short propane hose can leave your grill, cooker, or other appliance closer to the propane supply than you want it. This 12' extension connects to compatible 9/16" left-hand fittings so you can position your equipment farther away.
Your existing propane hose may connect everything you need, but its length determines where your grill, cooker, or other compatible appliance has to sit. If that limits where you can position your equipment, this 12' pigtail extension gives you more flexibility between compatible connections. The 9/16" female left-hand swivels connect to compatible fittings at both ends, so you can add length without replacing your existing hose.

Hi everyone. Steven here with etrailer. Let's take a look at the MEC propane extension hose. So folks, if your existing propane hose, it may connect to everything you need, but maybe the length determines that your grill cooker or other compatible appliances have to sit too close or closer than maybe what you would like them to. That can limit you. So that's where this 12-foot pigtail comes into play.
I left the cable tied from the manufacturer, just the way it came, but it's 12 feet long. You do have a nice long length with that 12 foot to get things farther away from the campsite if you want them to. And you have 9/16-inch female left-handed swivels on both ends. So anything with the swivel ends, you put the wrench on here, you don't have to twist the hose. And because it's a compressed fitting on the fitting in there, that fits that swivel head, whenever those two ends come together, you don't have to worry about using pipe dope or pipe tape or those kind of things, as long as you're use them with the compatible male 9/16-inch fittings.
So again, folks, this is for propane service. It's a thermoplastic hose. It is UL and CGA approved. And again, you get 12 feet. And that's gonna wrap up our quick look together folks.
