This ball hitch system really works for as I had 4 hitches and this replaces 3 of them. The weight capacities are higher than the other hitch balls giving me more piece of mind.

I have purchased 3 of these sets so far, and they all have the same issue. My receiver will not latch around the 2" ball on any of them. I have multiple other 2" balls that work perfectly fine. I have tried reaching out to Tow Smart directly, only to not even be given a reply telling me that they received my message, let alone anything offering any assistance.
I mounted this ball to my tiller on the back of my tractor , have two diff trailers , one with 1 7/8" ball and my big trailer is 2" ball , I just back up to trailer switch the ball tops and raise tiller , latch the bulldog hitch , works great , will probably buy another for my two Chevy trucks with the slip & pin hitch , Dont have to fight the threaded shank this way .Jon
The shank length was a little bit of a concern, but it seems to be adequate.
I need to tow one trailer with 1 7/8 and one with 2" , and this makes it a cinch to switch between them.
When not installed on the hitch, the securing pins tend to slide into the 'open position but they dont fall out. The balls do roll around though, so I keep them in a tool bag.
Locking pins in each ball vibrate loose and blackout. Need some sort of locking mechanism. Also will not work with the couple on my tracker boat. Base too thick for coupler to latch.
I keep these in my truck and they're my go to when I have to move my trailers
I had a towsmart hitch that was stolen with my trailer. I wanted to replace it.
The system works well. When the hitch is not in use, there was concern the pin would back out so we left the ball off until it was time to use.
