Replaces the motor of your Solera 12V, 18V, and Smart Arm electric RV awning manufactured before 2015.

Had to watch the youtube video a couple of time to make sure I installed correctly. Everything went together well and our awning works like new. It was so easy, I didn't even need the wife to supervise.

This was for a power awning. It is still working a year later. Very easy replacement. Even though your up a ladder the replacement went very smooth. Helpful hint: spread a tarp under the ladder. You have to remove about 6 to 8 screws in the housing and motor mount. I dropped one in the grass. Took me forever to find it. They are black and pretty much disappear

David S.

Actually about two years now and awning still working like new.

We received our shipment as expected! I installed the the new motor in our awning. It was simple to install and the awning is running perfectly and is so quiet!

The customer rep, Stacy A., assisted us with our purchase. There was some confusion on my part about exactly what I needed and what I was ordering but Stacy was so knowledgeable she set me straight. I am so thankful that she did because the part we received was the part we needed! We will definitely be using for any other needs that might come up!

Our awning motor is still working great! It was easy to install and we were excited about getting the awning fixed. Like new again.

product only lasted a couple of months. Your motor still worked but didn't have enough power to roll the awning in. I had to manually assist to get the awning back in. So I had to buy another one. since yours didn't last, i purchased the replacement from another vendor. unless there's something else wrong that caused your product to fail, i'm disappointed in your product. I guess i'll find out if the replacement also fails in a couple of months. Since I only camp for 6 months out of the year, it will probably be next year before I know whether the replacement is still working or not as I just replaced this motor and there is only a couple of months left in the camping season this year.

This is exactly the replacement part that I busted on my camper awning. Dealing with etrailer was an easy and non-frustrating experience. The price was reasonable and the service is exceptional. I like calling and talking with people instead of just ordering from the website. Their website is well organized but actually talking to someone made the order a breeze. I highly recommend them for camper parts and other devices.

This motor was a direct fit and easy to install. I read the question about installing, on his website, and it was extremely easy. Unroll 12 inches, support the arms, take the motor off. Reverse order to install new one.

The delivery was quick and delivered on the date specified in the email. They sent me a tracking number, so I was able to track it from shipping to delivery!

Best price from what I found looking, great follow-up, and great product. I will definitely order from again!

Quickly delivered, product exactly matched the existing, (brand, model, type, fit and function) low pricing, free delivery, courteous representatives, package tracking, followup after the sale, no issues, well pleased, would recommend

Still working, no issues

F Y I ,,, This has nothing to do with Etrailer !!

crappy motor, lci has issues! New motor unwinds the awning fine but rewinds very slow than stops. someone has to come up with a good after market motor to fix there issues. this is not the first go around with lci awnings ( 2 campers ) a 13 & a 17 ------- 5 motors all together. My new trailer, i demanded i would not take the unit with a lci awning on it.
the only good thing with this motor is you can put a drill on it to roll the awning in and out.
good luck folks,,,, read the reviews on this motor its not only me.
happy camping

Install of motor and tools used.

I was so happy when I found the etrailer web site ! I had been trying to find the awning motor we needed for over a week, luckily I found The ease of finding the part we needed was excellent and the awning motor was an exact fit. My husband put the motor on and now the awning works great. Thank you etrailer

As usual, mailed in a timely manner, correct product sent, and works perfectly! Great company to buy from!

Replacement awning motor Installation was straightforward. It works but the awning retract is very slow. Seems like the motor should have a little more power.

It was so easy to install. I could’ve done it myself, but I hired someone to do it for me. The part was perfect and I now have a new perfectly running awning. Thank you.!

Parts work well. Fifth wheel is easy to remove & replace as needed. It did take some work to install but overall I'm happy with the kit.

Need a motor for an awning repair and Etrailer came through for us in flying colors.
Did a nice job in making sure we received the product and even provided instructions for the installation. The price was right and the shipping was speedy. We will use this company again.

The product was easily identifiable on the website because of the pictures. I was able to locate an exact replacement quickly and easily. The part is exactly as advertised and for a good value compared to other sites. The priority shipping was reasonably priced too. I will be shopping from again!

Oh my goodness!! Very impressed with this company! FAST FAST shipping and it was free! Our awning motor went out so we researched and found this company. So glad we did! If we need any other products we will without hesitation order again from e-trailer. Thanks so much~ Highly recommend!!!

I ordered a replacement motor for the awning on my travel trailer. Exactly what I ordered and very quick delivery. Works perfectly. Took 30 minutes to install. Couldn’t have asked for anything more.

I ordered electric awning motor for my motor home, it was easy to install and works fine. I was very pleased with the product and will use this company for future needs.

This motor worked great. It fit just like the original part. Etrailer is the best and they ship fast. They also have great technical support.

The replacement awning motor fit perfectly. Easy to install. The awning works just like new.

This is one of the best sites for trailer parts that I have ever used it is easy and they seem to have everything at a good price

This awning motor was very easy to install, and is the exact replacement. I hope it will last longer than the original.

Exact fit. It took longer to take the covers off then to install the motor. Hopefully the motor will last the life of the rv.

Product is garbage. Motor is already bad, it will work on extension but will not retract

  • Troubleshooting an RV Awning That Blows a Fuse and Will Not Retract
I am not sure what awning you have, but there are a couple things you can check out depending on when the fuse is blowing. If it is blowing almost immediately upon putting a new fuse in, there is likely a short in the wiring and you would want to inspect your wiring to try and find the short. If the fuse is blowing while in the process of retracting your awning, then it is likely a mechanical error. The motors in awnings will over compensate if they run into an obstruction, causing the...

  • Troubleshooting Solera Power Awning That Stopped Working
There aren't any fuses in the motor or arm. It is possible that the motor burned out or the drive head gears # LC353964 have gone bad. If you need a replacement motor then you will use the Solera Power Awning Replacement Motor # LC266149. The best way to test is to remove the head housing and use a circuit tester like # PTW2993 to check the wires going into the motor for power. If you have power going into the motor when you press the switch then you know that the motor is bad. If...

  • Is There a Replacement Motor That Allows the Solera Awnings to Retract Faster
The Solera awnings are a slower retracting awning. They will only go as fast as the correct motor will allow. The # LC266149 is for Solera awnings older than 2015 and the # LC373566 is for Solera awnings made after 2015. Unfortunately there is not a motor that is recommended for the awnings that will retract them faster.

  • How to Determine Which Replacement Awning Motor Is Needed for a 2015 Keystone Springdale
You'd need to either find the sticker on your motor and tell me what that is, or let me know some of your awning info so I can figure out what motor you need. For instance, if you had a Lippert Solera awning manufactured after 2015 you'd need # LC373566, but this info would be found on the awning itself. If your awning was manufactured before 2015, you'd need # LC266149 instead.

  • What Causes Solera Awning To Slowly Open By Itself?
No, The Replacement Switch Kit # LC285500 you were looking at for your Solera awning is not a dynamic switch, it's just a regular switch. You can easily test if it's the switch by unhooking it with the awning all the way closed and seeing if it still slowly opens. Based on the issue you described it sounds more like the motor has an issue as that's what is used to keep the awning from opening when power is not sent to it. More than likely you're going to need # LC266149 if your awning...

This awning has the actual canopy of 15 foot 1 inch wide and then you have some roller rail on each side then the arm assembly as well. I've attached the diagram from the installation instructions that show the actual width to the center of each arm being what they state is the 16 feet, but I would definitely measure for precision...

  • Options for Different Connector Styles for Solera RV Awning Motor
We have replacement motors for Solera/Lippert awnings that have a two pin connector like the part # LC373566. This is for awnings that were made after 2015. For awnings made before 2015 we have the part # LC266149. This uses two wires with spade connectors instead. We don't offer any adapter harnesses but if you have something different you could pretty simply just use butt connectors to make the connection like the # DW05714.

  • How to Support Awning Arms When Installing the Solera Power Awning Replacement Motor # LC266149
Although there isn't a specific way to support the arms of your awning when installing the Solera Power Awning Replacement Motor # LC266149 you can definitely get creative. Lippert actually suggests using zip ties to hold the arms in place. I would either go the zip tie route or or just recruite a few extra sets of hands.

I found the question and answer you referenced: The Solera Power Awning Replacement Motor # LC266149 does not have an installation video at this time. However, the installation is not difficult. Before removing the motor, you want to open the awning about 12 inches and support the arms. This will remove the spring tension in the awning roller for an easy removal. So basically he is saying that you open the awning about a foot and then have someone hold the arm you are replacing the motor...

After that, they said to take a look at the ground wire before the switch, and make sure that has a good connection. Also make sure the switch is not damaged in any way, and if it needs replacing you can do that with the Solera...

If your powered awning trips the breaker on its motor circuit you might have a mechanical issue that is stopping the awning arms from retracting or the breaker on that circuit may not be the correct value. • Solution for Needing Replacement Slide Out Arm Bracket
The bracket you have broken is part of the slide out awning roller and could only be replaced by going with an all new assembly like with the part # LCV000165062 which would be correct if you needed a roller that measures 7 foot 1 inch. There's a good chance you'd need a different size though so if you could measure the width of your slide out from flange to flange I can recommend the correct part.
