Video Transcript for Review of Firestone Vehicle Suspension - F2375

Today we're going to take a look at six-inch lift spacers for the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs. Now, this kit will allow your air springs to be installed on vehicles that a a six-inch lift and the distance between the upper and lower brackets must be between 11-1/2 and 12-1/2 inches for these springs to fit. The spacers must be the same size as your lift kit rise. This part will include everything laid out here on the table, the two lift spacers, the hardware to install it and a nice set of detailed instructions for the installation. And the lift spacers are designed to fit axle-mounted air springs. Basically the spacer right here, is what we'll install between the air spring and the lower bracket. The bottom of the spacer is what installs to the lower bracket and then the air spring will attach to the top of the spacer here.Again, the specs for this, it's for vehicles with a six-inch lift and from 11-1/2 to 12-1/2 inches between the upper and lower brackets.

Now this will not fit the Ride-Rite models F-2350 or F-2286 but it will fit a version of the F-2286 if it's manufactured after February 01, 2006. But that should do it for the review of the six-inch lift spacers for the Firestone Ride-Rite air helper springs.

  • Air Bag Helper Springs for a 2014 Chevy Silverado 1500 with 6 Inch Lift
Does your 2014 Chevy Silverado 1500 have a 6 inch lift or is it the 6 foot bed? I ask because Air Lift kit # AL89204 only fits short bed models so if your truck has the 8 foot bed you would need to look at other options. Lift kits are interesting because you could have a 6 inch lift kit but the actual increase in height between the frame and axle might be less than 6 inches. This is important when picking out kits and available spacers. Air Lift's tallest spacer is 4 inches, # AL52440....

  • Lift Spacers for Firestone Air Bags on a 2007 Dodge Ram 2500 with 6 Inch Lift
That's a good looking truck! To determine which lift spacers you will need for Firestone air bags # F2299 or # F2701 for your 2007 Dodge Ram 2500 there is a measurement needed. A 6 inch lift may not increase the distance between the frame and axle by 6 inches. But if it has then you would need 6 inch lift spacers # F2375. These spacers were designed for vehicles with a 6 inch lift AND from 11.5 inches to 12.5 inches between the upper and lower air bag mounting brackets. Otherwise...

  • Firestone Ride-Rite Air Springs and Compressor for Lifted 2016 Chevy Silverado 1500
Firestone does offer spacers to allow installation of air bags in lifted trucks. The spacers are not needed if the vehicle has a body lift, but if it has a suspension lift the spacers will be needed for the air springs to be in the correct positions. The Firestone rear axle air spring kit # F2430 is a confirmed fit for your 2016 Silverado 1500 (both the 2WD and the 4WD versions) and you will want to use Spacer kit # F2375. To get the most out of your air spring setup I suggest adding...

Here are the sizes available: 1-1/4" Spacers # F2536 2" Spacers # F2366 3" Spacers # F2367 4" Spacers # F2370 5" Spacers # F2373 6" Spacers # F2375 For each of these products there is a range to help further. • Firestone Ride-Rite Helper Springs for 2015 Toyota Tundra with 6" Lift Kit
The Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs you selected, # F2445 are a fit for your 2015 Toyota Tundra. In order to accommodate your 6" lift, you will need the 6" Lift Spacers, # F2375. These spacers are installed between the top of the spring and the top bracket. To verify that this kit will work, the distance between upper and lower brackets must be between 11.5" and 12.5". • Rear Axle Air Springs for 2013 Ford F-150 FX4 Super Crew
A rear axle air spring kit will help offset the sag you're experiencing in your lifted FX4 when you tow. You will most likely need a 6-inch spacer to install the AirLift kit # AL57200 you referenced but you can refer to the linked diagram to confirm. For a 6-inch spacer use # F2375. I strongly recommend you also use a compressor with your install, part # AL25655. Without an on-board compressor it is tough to find the air pressure sweet spot for your towing load. You have to pull over...

  • Are Spacers Needed to Install Firestone Air Bags on a Lifted Truck
If your lift is on the front of the truck but not the rear then you would not need to use any spacers to install Firestone air bags # F2071. On the rear, you would need spacers if the distance between the truck frame and the axle has increased. The size of the spacer is going to depend on the amount of lift. Firestone has the following: For vehicles with 1-1/4 inch lift use # F2536 For 2 inches use # F2366 For 3 inches use # F2368 For 4 inches use # F2371 For 6 inches use # F2375

The Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs, part # F2598 will work great on your 2015 Ram 2500. This system helps keep the headlights level and helps reduce tire wear and provides great support when carrying heavy loads. Since you said you have a 6 inch lift on your truck the Lift Spacers, part # F2375 will work for you. • Availability of 6 Inch Spacers for Firestone Airbags on a Truck with 6 Inch Lift
You would just need the 6 inch spacers, # F2374. Using 2 sets of the 3 inch spacers is not a good idea because the more components you add to the system the more points of weakness there are. Not that the spacers or system are weak but if you can avoid a potential issue it would be a good idea. Spacer # F2374 is for use on air bag systems that mount on leaf springs and # F2375 is for air bag systems that mount on axles.

  • How To Tell What Size Firestone Lift Spacers Are Needed On A Truck With A 6 Inch Lift Kit
To determine what size lift spacer to use on your vehicle with Firestone Ride-Rite Air Springs, measure the distance between the upper and lower brackets of your air helper spring kit, and whether the kit mounts on the leaf spring or the axle. The spacer needs to be the same length as the amount of lift applied to the axle on which the air helper spring is installed. The axle mount kit would have the lower bracket mounted to the axle. The leaf mount kit would have the lower bracket mounted...

  • Can Firestone Air Bags be Installed on a Chevy Silverado with a 6 Inch Lift
It depends on the lift type that is on your Silverado. But if it is a suspension lift then the air bags will not fit unless you use spacers, # F2375, designed for vehicles with a 6 inch lift.
