Today we're going to be taking a look at the Brophy Safety Chain Mounting Bracket, this mounting bracket's going to weld securely to your trailer frame, and it's going to provide an anchor point for your safety chain so that way you can secure it. It's made from a durable steel construction, it is unfinished, so it's ready for welding and then you can paint it to match your trailer. I just want to take a look at the dimensions real quick, starting with the overall length, measuring from edge to edge, the unit's going to give us a measurement of about 8-3/8" long. The diameter is going to measure 5/8". If we take a measurement of the opening, the height, measuring from the top of the table to the bottom of this portion here, that measured 2" tall, so that's going to be the opening space right there. The opening width, here at the bottom, basically measuring from the beginning of one curve to the same point on the other side, we're looking at opening of about 4", and then here at the top that opening decreases to about 2" wide, or 2-1/4" wide here at the top.
The product is made in the USA, again, nice steel construction with the raw finish. That's going to do it for today's look at the Brophy Safety Chain Mounting Bracket.

Good product very well made
excellent product. nice an heavy so you can really smoke it on when you're welding it in place. I used it to attach some safety cables and don't see any issues.
