Heavy-duty wheel lock clasps around the tire of your truck, trailer, or other wheeled equipment to deter theft. Fits 12"-20" tires. Rubber-coated arms will not scratch your wheels. Can be keyed alike to match your other Rack'Em locks. The small end would not reach the holes in my wheel. The large end would not close tight enough. The lock would just hang loose on the wheel. I then put one half of the long end in the wheel hole and the other around the spring, then lock tightened and worked as designed.
I have four expensive trailers, so I purchased two of these in January and two more in February. I had all four keyed alike. Now I only need to carry one key to unlock any of the four wheel locks. That is so convenient! I'm very impressed with the quality and how easy they are to use. They only take seconds to install or remove. (Unless you're a thief, then just "Fuhgeddaboudit")
Trailer Wheel Lock
DO NOT PURCHASE this wheel lock. The construction of this product is made from inexpensive steel that can be cut off in matter of minutes using a standard battery operated reciprocating saw. We purchased this product and then our trailer was stolen 3 days later. The culprit DID NOT have to worry about a lock because he simply just cut off the one arm of the unit. We lost a $10,000 trailer in a matter of minutes. Save your money, don't shop on this site for trailer locks. Rather, call an insurance broker, get insurance and then park it in a gated storage lot. I really wish I would have. See images attached.
I'm using this on a utility trailer but can find many more uses for it. Having the ability to use it on so many different wheel/tire sizes in one package is a major plus. Built tough to with stand many years of use. I originally had my hitch locked with a padlock, but still had concerns of theft. With the Magnum wheel lock, those concerns are now gone.
Just received Lock'em wheel lock and immediately put on boat trailer. I have had theft on my boat several times and was told by cops a lot of trailers are stolen here in Crimellas County Florida while out fishing. Would hate to come back to boat ramp only to find truck sitting with no trailer. Hopefully this will make them move on to the next one. Already used tongue lock but apparently those can easily be busted off with hammer. Easy to put on, takes seconds. Worth the time.
easy to install. fast shipping. Folks tried to steal my trailer last week with my brand new Cub Cadet lawn tractor locked to the side of the trailer.
Hope this does the trick.
Just as described; ordered 2 (keyed alike). This makes me feel much more secure about having my trailer stored and not seeing it everyday to verify it’s security.
Product easy to install. Peace of mind. No one tried to leave with my trailer so far
Really am pleased with this item. Easy to install, the forks sit snug to wheel. I pulled on trailer after installing. I feel a thief will move on to a easier target. Thanks.
Description of item was detailed and ordering and processing was very easy. Also item was received in a timelyanner.
All the information I've read about the RA-25 is true. Very easy operation and the level of security is excellent.
Etrailer always has good reviews, good customer service, and great prices. Time will tell if the RA-25 is effective in preventing theft. It is really easy to attach - once its unlocked, you can remove the key and just clamp the 2 halves around the tire - done! I have a medium size atv trailer with 13" wheels and it fits good - the tips of the arms just touch the rim inside and out - there is no way its coming off. It is nice and flat making it easy to store when not in use. The keys and locking mechanism seem well made and work smoothly. Yes, I got locking lug nuts too, so its not easy to remove the wheel.

We sold our pop-up camper recently, but kept the Rackem Lock! I didnt wantto part with it!
This wheel lock is reasonably priced, very well built and easy to install.
I also added a locking lug nut to the same tire that has the wheel lock, to eliminate any chance of a potential thief just removing and replacing the tire. I'm confident that my expensive enclosed cargo trailer is now extremely secure with this wheel lock and locking lug nut combination.

Working Great! All my trailers are safe and sound.
This wheel lock is just what I needed for storing a trailer. It is heavy duty and easy to install or remove when needed. It adjusts to fit the wheel and locks down with the turn of the key. Nothing can totally prevent theft, but a thief will have to work pretty hard to get my trailer with this wheel lock and the other anti-theft equipment that I use. Customer service at etrailer has always been outstanding and the shipping is always fast.

I use this wheel lock on a trailer that I store in Florida. It has been exposed to the sun and salt air for a year and yet it still looks and functions as if brand new. I couldnt be happier with this purchase.
Easy to install, although a bit heavy to store but worth it because of the security it provides.
Oh goodness, what a great design in the trailer wheel lock! We have a warmblood three horse trailer - bigger wheels - and this is just perfect. Keeping our investment safe!
Shipping was quick and easy too.
Thank you!

Excellent purchase! We feel our trailer is secure and the wheel lock if very easy in install and remove!! Yihaw!
These wheel locks have made me feel better about leaving my trailer parked. The sun has faded the yellow over time and I did have a little trouble unlocking one but that was due to weather and rain. With a little WD-40 and a minute or two it works fine. So that is a tip...keep a little WD-40 or equivalent on hand or lubricate the mechanism and lock from time to time and all should be good.

Just fine. I keep them in the trailer tool box and use them when away from home. They still give a little extra peace of mind.
Even though the product is a good idea, it doesn't quite fit in either setting. I haven't put it to a test because I don't want to damage my tire, but I think it can be pried off with the slack needed to fit on. Suggest some finer adjustment settings to allow it to snug up tightly. I doubled up and have the tongue lock too, and my trailer still sits where it was parked a year ago on my secluded lot, but then again, nothing else was stolen either, so better safe than sorry is the only thing to say about that.

If a thief is determined enough, just about any lock can be defeated. The idea is to provide deterrence, so hopefully the thief moves on to an easier target. Having a lock on the coupler as you do also adds another layer of deterrence.
I have 6 of these, which I use on commercial equipment trailers & a small tractor.
They are alright...on several different types of wheels, they do not stay secure within the spokes, which means that they do not catch against the fender or stop the wheel from rolling...the wheel can roll with this lock in place, simply dragging the lock along the ground.
We had an 4WD atv stolen with this lock installed.
Thief Hot-wired it, put it in 4WD & drove off. Tire went flat, but because the wheel can spin with the lock in place, he just kept driving. We followed the drag mark about 3/4 of a mile to a paved road, where (presumably) the atv was loaded on a truck.
Atv was later recovered in a drug raid...original wheel was still on it, with a new tire installed.
As a mentor of a high school robotics team, I purchased this lock for use on U-Haul rental trailers/trucks for out of town and in town events/competitions. It has been used extensively over the year and has never failed to function as advertised. Very easy to apply and remove. Would recommend to anyone looking for a way to provide an additional layer of security to help prevent theft of a trailer/vehicle but not the contents, obviously. When used for its intended purpose it should deter the average thief. I posed the question to my students as a teaching moment and they responded with the two concerns I would have with this product. It can be defeated by carefully cutting through one of the arms using a grinder or sawzall. Granted, that would take some time and would be quite noisy, two things the average thief would like to avoid. The other method would be to jack up the vehicle, remove the wheel with the lock, and put on a spare. Again, time consuming and not something your average thief would want to attempt due to the time and effort involved. I would give this product five stars for its intended purpose, ease of use and price point.
Locks are meant to deter and not completely stop a thief and this wheel lock seems to be one of the best out there. It is simple to use and it shows exactly which side to use. Between this lock and others I'm sure a would be thief will be on to another trailer.

Considering they are locks and my trailerboat have not been stolen I would say they are holding up fine. No issues with them so after a year they are still doing well. Thank you for asking.
I'm a little concerned about this lock. Even using the smaller of the two side, the lock doesn't really "grab" the wheel like I had hoped. By twisting the lock to the side I can get one of the arms to fit into one of the slots in the wheel itself. Then if I close the slide as tight as possible, it does seem to hold better. However, I think it could be moved back to the 'in line' position shown in the photo in the product description. Oriented in that manner it appears to me that the tire and wheel could turn inside of the jaws and the trailer could be slowly moved. If so, the only real protection would come from the outside are destroying the value stem and letting the air out of the tire. I'm not sure I would buy this lock again based on the way it fits my trailer. It may fit better on your trailer.
