Speaker 1: Today we're taking a look at a safety chain clip. This safety chain clip welds onto the trailer frame and securely holds a trailer safety chain in place. It's made from a durable carbon steel construction with a plain steel finish. The diameter is 1/2". The overall length of the unit measuring edge to edge gives us a measurement of around 6" long. The overall height measures about 1-3/16" tall.
The usable space, that's the space right here, up and down we have about 3/4". Side to side we have about 1-5/8". That's going to do it for today's look at the safety chain clip.

Nice already made link. Didn't quite sit completely flat at the weld surface, but that's easily fixed with some pressing in a vice ...
