Some models of the 2022 Ford Escape are capable of being flat towed.

Per the owner's manual:

• Gas powered FWD models can be trailered or Dolly towed using a tow dolly like the Demco # DM9713045 Kar
Kaddy SS. They cannot be flat towed.

• Gas powered AWD models can't be flat or dolly towed, only trailered.

• Hybrid and PHEV models can be flat towed with all 4 wheels on the ground, follow the specific instructions in
the owner's manual.

If your Escape can be flat towed, you'll need a tow bar, base plates, safety cables, a wiring solution, a supplemental braking system and possibly a high/low adapter if the installed base plate height has a greater than 3 inch height difference compared to the hitch receiver height on the motorhome.

For a tow bar, I'd recommend the Roadmaster Falcon All-Terrain tow bar, part # RM-522 along with the # RM-643 safety cable kit. For base plates, use # RM39FR. To wire the vehicle, I'd recommend a diode kit like # RM-152-98146-7. A charge line kit, part # RM-156-25 will be needed to keep the battery topped off while towing.

For a supplemental braking system, I recommend a Demco braking system. For motorhomes with hydraulic brakes, use the Stay in Play, part # SM99251 or the # SM99243 Air Force One for motorhomes with air brakes. The # RM-88400 brake light relay is also needed.

If the height difference between the base plates and the hitch on the motorhome is greater than 3 inches, you'll need a high/low adapter. I'll link to an article that explains how to measure for the adapter as well as to the lift of adapters of differing heights that are available.

I've linked to some install/demonstration videos that you might find helpful.
