Can I Flat Tow a 2023 Ford Bronco Using the Recovery Hooks?

I have a 2023 Bronco with the modular front bumper. Can I flat tow this vehicle using the D rings? I see that Blue Ox makes an adapter BX88357 that is for this purpose, but I dont know if the Bronco modular bumper is rated for flat towing. I have the Blue Ox Alpha tow bar.

No, you can't. Those hooks are only for recovery or pulling something they're not rated to be flat towed with. You are actually going to have to remove them to install a base plate kit on your 2023 Ford Bronco.

Since you have a Blue Ox Alpha tow bar you'll want the Blue Ox Base Plate Kit item # BLU23XR. This base plate kit is confirmed to fit the Bronco's with the Ford modular front bumper.

Here are some other parts you will need to flat tow your 2023 Ford Bronco:

Wiring Harness - Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit item # RM-15267

Supplemental Braking System - SMI Stay-IN-Play DUO Supplemental Braking System item # SM99251 or item # SM99243 if your motorhome has air brakes

@Phils I checked with Curt and their item # C59JR only works with the 2021 - 2022 Ford Bronco's with the Ford Performance Heavy Duty Modular Bumper.

@JerredH The modular bumper is the same 2021 to 2024, Curt just never updated there literature. Thank you for your response but it does work on all broncos with modular bumper, and no where that I have seen does Ford say no to hook there.
