The first component you'll need to flat tow your 2023 Ford Bronco is a base plate kit like the part # RM79RR which connects to the vehicle frame to provide a connection to the tow bar.

In addition to the base plates, you will also need a compatible tow bar, safety cables, lighting, and supplemental braking to flat tow your vehicle. The most popular compatible tow bar is the Falcon All Terain, # RM-522. This has non-binding arms which makes the setup very easy to connect/disconnect.

For lighting/safety cables, locks, and covers for the tow bar we have the Roadmaster Falcon All Terrain kit part # RM-9243-1 which comes with all of that as one part number. The diode kit that comes with this allows you to splice into the taillight wiring so that your RV controls the vehicle taillights and does not require drilling into the taillight housings. This comes with a round 6-way connector that you will install on the front of your towed vehicle and enough coiled wire to go from there to the RV.

And finally, most states now require supplemental braking in the vehicle being flat towed. The easiest system to set up and use is the Blue Ox Patriot # BLU37TR, that applies the vehicle brakes in proportion to how much the tow vehicle is braking. This is the safest way to stop and it reduces wear and tear on both vehicles.

I have a 2024 Ford Bronco 4 door outer banks. I've got the road master tow plate installed and wired up. My roadmaster nighthawk tow bar should arrive today. Next on the agenda is a portable brake system. I decided to not go with an inplace Demco system do to the amount of installation modifications to the engine. I'm doing all the installs myself. In researching portable brake systems i'm looking at blue ox patriot 3 and the rvi3 system with their monitor. I noticed you do not sell the RVI. is there a reason why? Do you have any opinions on the RVi3? Differences or advantages one way or the other? Concerns about the RVi3? Two things i like about the RVI3 is the wireless bluetooth connection for the breakaway connection and the tablet lets me at their tire pressure monitoring system without have to buy yet another tablet from someone else. thanks, Wyatt

@WyattR There isn't anything that RVI did that we decided to not carry them. At this time we just haven't found a way to bring them on. As far as portable systems go I really like the Blue Ox Patriot # BLU37TR. It just works well and is reliable without being overly complicated. As far as Bluetooth connection of the RVI3 that does sound cool but at that range I don't know if I would really want to deal with connectivity issues or the potential for them. Plus you'd have to have a phone or tablet for it.
