Its substantial steel construction means it's built to withstand the weight comfortably, making it ideal for transporting your heavy camping or outdoor equipment.

Keep Everything Secure: Raised Side Rails

Worried about your cargo shifting during transit? The raised side rails are designed to keep your items in place while offering numerous tie-down points. This feature simplifies the securing process, giving you peace of mind knowing your belongings are safe and stable.

Enhance Safety and Visibility: Built-In Reflectors

Driving at night or in low visibility conditions? The built-in reflectors on this cargo carrier enhance your vehicle's visibility from the rear, adding an extra layer of safety on the road. It ensures other drivers are aware of your presence, minimizing the risk of accidents.

  • Can a Trailer hitch Mount Cargo Carrier be Used at the Back of a 5th Wheel Trailer for Generator
I do have a solution for you but our contacts over at Pro Series have recently told us that the cargo carriers they manufacture, including # 63153, are not rated for use behind a 5th wheel trailer. Curt has carriers that can be used on the back of a RV like the # C18152. There is much more movement at the back of your 5th wheel trailer than on a vehicle so you will want to make the carrier as stable as possible using the built-in anti-rattle device. I also strongly recommend using straps...

  • Availability Of Heat Shield For Items In Cargo Basket
Hello Richard, thanks for getting in touch. Sadly, we do not offer any kind of heat shield that can be used with a cargo carrier. This is a fairly common issue especially on vehicles where the exhaust sticks straight back. The only real solution I can offer is to use a cargo basket with a bit of rise built into the shank, such as the 24x60 Curt Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches # C18152 which has 2-1/2" of rise. This can help the basket clear the exhaust and protect your cargo.

  • Recommended Cargo Bag for Pro Series # 63153 Cargo Carrier
The cargo bag I highly recommend for your Pro Series Cargo Carrier # 63153 is the etrailer Cargo Bag # 988501. It has 20 cubic feet of storage, is waterproof with PVC coated nylon, and has six tie-down straps that will secure it to your Pro Series Cargo Carrier. If you take a look at the photos I've added you can see exactly how this bag looks when used with the Pro Series. I've also attached links to video reviews of this bag for you to take a look at.

  • How To Carry an E-Trike Behind an RV Motorhome or Flat Towed Vehicle
You are going to need to use a cargo carrier like the Curt # C18152 as we do not have any bike racks capable of carrying an e-tricycle. This cargo carrier fits into a 2" receiver so you need these on both your RV and your flat towed car. You may need to add Auxiliary Lights # C53201 depending on your tail lights and if the view is impaired when you load your e-tricycle.

  • 24 by 60 inch Cargo Carrier Recommendation for Use at Rear of Truck and Travel Trailer
The best hitch cargo carrier for what you are looking for is the Curt cargo carrier part # C18152 which is the size you are wanting of 24 inch by 60 inch and also because it is a fixed carrier without a folding mechanism which means it will do better at the rear of a travel trailer since hinges add movement and are typically a weaker portion. This also has a rise built into the shank which gives better ground clearance as well.

  • Best Cargo Carrier between Curt C18150 and Pro Series 6502 for a 2018 Subaru Crosstrek w/2" Hitch
I recommend going with a cargo carrier with a 2 inch shank because it will be the best fit with the least amount of movement between the carrier shank and the hitch receiver. So between the 2 you are looking at that would be # 6502. You could go with Curt carrier # C18152 which costs less than the Pro Series carrier, fits 2 inch hitches only, and is a little bit larger at 24 x 60 inches.

  • Determining if a Trailer Hitch Mount Cargo Carrier Will Clear the Spare Tire, 2010 Jeep Wrangler
With any cargo carrier or accessory, I do not recommend using an extension because it will reduce the tongue weight capacity of the trailer hitch by 50 percent. Instead, I would go with the carrier that offers the most amount of clearance to help clear the spare tire as much as possible. The carrier that extends the furthest is CURT Carrier, # C18152. It measures 14-1/2 inches from the center of the hitch pin hole. I have included a link to a video review of this carrier as well. You...

  • Recommended Trailer Hitch and Cargo Carrier for RV with 4 x 4 Square Bumper
We currently have five bumper mounted 2" trailer hitch receivers that will work with the 4" x 4" bumper on your trailer. I have attached these options for you but I recommend using the Curt RV Bumper 2" Trailer Hitch Receiver part # E-100. This trailer hitch uses steel plates to surround the bumper as opposed to the u-bolts in the other options. The steel plates will provide more support and also look much better than the u-bolt options. If you also need a cargo basket for your generator...

  • Tail Light Kit For Kuat NV Base Bike Rack
The LED light kit # 98174LED and bracket # BK70BB is for a cargo carrier like this one # C18152. It will not attach to your Nv 2.0 # BA22B without rigging it up. Your best bet is to get something like the magnetic tow lights # PE26UR. These will connect to your 4 pole on your vehicle and will attach to your roof via magnets. This light kit won't interfere with your bike cover as the others may. Keeping the lights on your roof rather than your bike rack will be much more visible too.

  • Recommended Frame Mounted Trailer Hitch And Cargo Carrier For Lance 2375 Travel Trailer
Using a bike carrier to carry a generator would certainly void the warranty of the carrier and may create an unsafe situation. I recommend installing a frame mounted trailer hitch like part # 13703 on your Lance 2375. This hitch will work with C-channel, I-beam, or box frames from 22 to 72 inches wide. The trailer hitch has a tongue weight capacity of 350-lbs. Per Curt, any non-trailer loads applied to this product must be supported by auxiliary stabilizing straps like part # 18050. For...

  • Availability of Hitch for 1993 Chevy Corvette
Hi Deborah; a bike rack carrier or custom fit hitch is not something that is available for your 1993 Corvette. What you can do is take the # E-9 to a local fabricator and have them fashion a custom hitch for your vehicle. You also need to find out what the tongue weight capacity is for your Corvette. Even if the hitch can handle it it doesn't mean your vehicle can. If you add a cargo carrier like # C18152 to carry the wheelchair you also need to account for the weight of the carrier, in...

  • Best Trailer Hitch Option For 2020 Forest River Flagstaff E-Pro Travel Trailer
Hello Edward, thanks for reaching out. We do offer universal/adjustable hitches that can be used on your 2020 Forest River Flagstaff E-Pro Travel Trailer. You will just need to verify your frame width to make sure the hitch fits. What I recommend is the Curt Adjustable Width Trailer Hitch Receiver for RVs # 13703. This comes with adjustable flanges that can fit frames between 22" and 72" wide. It has a 3,500 lb towing capacity or 250 lb tongue weight rating. Then for a cargo basket I...

  • Hitch and Cargo Carrier Recommendation for 2022 Forest River 296QBLE Travel Trailer for Generator
Best option would be a multi fit hitch like the Curt # 13703 which would attach to the travel trailer frame. This basically fits all frame styles as long as the frame is between 22 and 72 inches apart. I highly recommend going with a non-folding carrier for the best overall stability since travel trailers are a bit rougher than vehicles with the 24x60 Curt Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches # C18152. This has a 500 lb capacity and the Curt mentioned has a 350 lb tongue weight capacity.

I have some great options for you to help with carrying extra cargo on the rear of your Grand Design Momentum. The best option as you mentioned is with a trailer hitch, the Adjustable Width Trailer Hitch Receiver for RVs part # 13703 is what I recommend as it's our most widely compatible trailer hitch for RV's. It will then allow you to attach all different kinds of accessories from bike racks to cargo carriers like the 24x60 Curt Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches part # C18152. This cargo carrier...

  • What Is the Difference Between the Curt Cargo Carrier 18150 & 18152?
the biggest difference between the 20 x 59 Curt Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches # C18150 and the 24x60 Curt Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches # C18152 is the size of the carrier. The # C18150 carrier has outside measurements of 59-1/8" long x 20-13/16" wide x 6-1/2" tall and inside measurements of 57-1/2" long x 19-13/16" wide x 5-5/8" deep. • Is Curt High-Low Adapter Rated for Accessories
The Curt High-Low Adapter # C59KR is designed for flat towing only. Curt doesn't even test it for accessories to give it a tongue weight rating. The Roadmaster # RM-048-4 is the most comparable with a distance of 9-5/8" from hitch pin to hitch pin hole and a 4" drop/rise. This has a 400 lb tongue weight capacity. However, use of an adapter is going to cut the capacity of your hitch by 50% so you won't be able to use the full capacity of the cargo carrier. The 24x60 Curt Cargo Carrier #...

The 24x60 Curt Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches, part # C18152, and the 24x60 Reese Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches, part # 63153, are extremely similar. In fact, in terms of the specs that you mentioned, neither stands above the other. I only recommend the Curt over the Reese because the rails are 3" taller, allowing you to have more options in what you can carry. As for foldable baskets, they are reliable. Yes, there is. I recommend the Adjustable Width Trailer Hitch item # C13704. This 2" hitch has a 500 lbs maximum tongue weight and fits frames 22" to 66" wide. This hitch is designed specifically for applications like this. It can be bolted directly to the frame rails or welded on for a no-drill installation. This has a 350 lb tongue weight capacity. Or another option is a cargo carrier that was designed to fit directly to the rear bumper of the RV with the part # e99050. The Curt # C18152 that you are interested in has a 2 inch rise in the shank as does # e98874.
