Hey John, that’s a really good question.

Yes, the Folding Basket Adapter # 52015 will work with your Curt # C18152.

Even though it’s only officially listed with the # C18150, both baskets use the same center support shank design, so the adapter will mount up the same way and give you a secure fit.

What kind of gear are you planning to load on the cargo carrier?

I bought the Folding Basket Adapter 52015 and paired it with the Curt 18152 cargo carrier. It worked even better than I expected on my small SUV that has a 2" receiver hitch. I took it on a long vacation with my family a few years ago. The whole setup was nice and solid -- very strong. It was great because the folding basket adapter extends out far enough that it allowed me to leave the cargo basket attached to my receiver hitch when we were stopped for the night with the cargo carrier folded up out of the way -- there was enough clearance to still be able to open my back tailgate. Of course I used locking pins to keep the whole setup secure from theft.

@TerryS Love to hear that the set up worked so well for you! Are there any family trips in the books for this year?

@GwendolynY So far just one fun trip planned. But I sold that car so I expect to be ordering another receiver hitch when I find my next car! I want to be able to use my bike rack or the cargo carrier with the folding adapter.
