The first number in the bolt pattern is the number of bolt holes. The second number denotes the diameter, in inches, of the circle on which the bolt holes sit.
On wheels with an even number of bolt holes, measure from the center of one bolt hole to the center of the hole directly across from it. (Example: "8 on 6-1/2" means 8 bolt holes with 6-1/2" from the center of one hole to the center of another on the opposite side.)
To determine the bolt-circle diameter on wheels with an odd number of bolt holes, measure from the center of any bolt hole to the point halfway between the two bolt holes directly across from the first. (Example: "5 on 4-1/2" means 5 bolt holes with 4-1/2" measured to a point halfway between the opposite bolt holes.)
Measuring the distance (D) from the center of one bolt hole on the wheel to the center of a bolt hole right next to it can also help to determine the bolt pattern.

Speaker 1: Today we're going to take a look at the Dexter complete hub and drum assembly for hydraulic brakes on 2,200 pound axles, and this has the 4 on 4 inch bolt pattern. This part will include everything shown here. It includes both the inner and outer bearings. The bearing races are included, they are pre-installed into the hub. The grease seal is included, grease cap, the wheel bolts on the hub and then the four lug nuts. This is designed for use with the 7 inch by 1 3/4 inch hydraulic brake assembly only.
Application again is 2,200 pound Dexter axles. The drum dimension, we measure it, the inside diameter is going to be right at 7 inches. The width is right at 2 inches.Again, the bolt pattern on this is a 4 on 4 inch bolt pattern. The parts that are included, the bearings are both the same for the inner and outer bearing, it's part number L44649, has an inner diameter of 1.063. You can see they go right there and the inner bearing goes right in there.
The grease seal is included. It is a double lip grease seal, part number 10-9, has an inner diameter of 1.5 and outer diameter of 1.987. Once your bearing goes in the part there, then the grease seal goes in right there.Comes with the grease cap, that's part number 46749. The wheel stud size on this hub is a half inch by 20 and the four lug nuts it comes with are half inch by 20 cone style lug nuts.That should do it for the review on the Dexter complete hub and drum assembly for hydraulic brakes on 2,200 pound axles with the 4 on 4 inch bolt pattern.

One of the best projects I ever did. Love the results. Everything worked, fit and preforms as expected. The customer service helped me order the correct parts, the first time. Replaced lines, hubs, bearings, drums, brakes, everything.

Their on time delivery was really Excellent ! I’m in gratitude to setup Hydraulic brakes to keep my load in order and safe from twisting. They exceeded the mark on ‘Prompt delivery’. However, I had to get the right spindle from another reseller; check that ‘a/16 is greater than road tolerance.

Put this on my 2002 Jayco Eagle 14so. Perfect fit. The old lugs spun in the hub, easier just to replace than try to repair.
