The Curt XD Class V Hitch # C15324 that you referenced is indeed a correct fit for your 2006 Chevrolet Avalanche.
I visited our warehouse to obtain the measurements you requested. The hitch mounting flanges measure 10-11/16-inches long x 2-1/4-inches wide; this width measurement includes the radius of the bend in the flange. The mounting hole spacing is 2-1/2-inches between the near holes and 4-1/8-inches between the farther-spaced holes, all measured hole-center to hole-center.
Please refer to the linked photo.
At right I have linked you to our pages for Class V ball mounts and hitch balls.
