After mounting can the skid plate be modified to reinstall?

Expert Reply:
You should be able to reinstall your skid plate after installing the Curt Front Hitch # 31313. On the older models (prior to 2007) the skid plate isn't required to be removed. The newer ones after 2007 do require the removal of it, but we had a customer with a 2012 model write us a review where he said he was able to reinstall his skid plate.
Without knowing what year your vehicle is it's hard for me to give you a more specific answer than that.
