Does Front Hitch Install on 2015 Toyota Tacoma TRD Require Removal of Skid Plate

Question:
I have a 2015 Tacoma TRD Sport and have been told that the Curt PN 31313 is the choice for my front mounted hitch. However, Ive also been told that the front skid plate must be moved and cant be reinstalled once the hitch is in place....is this TRUE? If so, would the same apply to a etrailer or Draw tite hitch?

Normally the skid plate can reinstall after the front hitch part # 31313 is installed but on the TRD models the skid plate is different and can't be.
