Question:
My 2003 Sunnybrook TT has Dexter Nev-R-Lube axles. Do Nev-R-Lube axles use standard Dexter brake parts shoes, magnets, complete assemblies?
asked by: Jack S
Expert Reply:
The Dexter Nev-R-Lube Hub and Drums will use the same braking components as other Dexter Hub and Drums. You would just need to determine the size of the drum in order to determine which parts to use. The magnet you were looking at, part # BP01-180, is for 12 inch drums. The magnet you would use for 10 inch drums is part # BP01-110.
Same principle applies for shoes and entire brake assemblies.
