Where to Drill the 4 inch Hole in the Truck Bed of 2015 Ford F350 to install BW Turnover Gooseneck

Question:
The instructions for the installation say to center your hole at 46-1/8inch but the center of the recess in the bed and center punch mark that is factory made Into the bed is around 45-3/4. If I install at 46-1/8inch the ball with not be even close to centered up in the recessed location. But of course I do not want to install at the wrong location. You only get one shot when it comes to drilling the 4inch hole.

The ball hole location set out in the instructions for the B&W Turnoverball Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch # BWGNRK1111 was made with the installation brackets and hardware of the # BWGNRK1111 in mind. The hole may not be perfectly in the recessed portion of your truck bed, but it will match up with the hitch once installed.
If you drill the hole where you think it would be in relation to the recessed portion of the bed it won't line up with the gooseneck ball once the hitch has been installed.
As always, measure twice and cut once.
