Question:

i have a 2014 lexus is250. and interested in tow hitches. I am wondering if you have any pics of finished installation on the car. also if it will get in the way if aftermarket exhaust. thanks

I spoke with my contact at Curt and he said the Curt trailer hitch # C11389, which you reference, is a confirmed fit for your 2014 Lexus IS 250. The hitch will not interfere with the factory exhaust, however the exhaust must be temporarily lowered for installation. In order to know if the hitch will interfere with your aftermarket exhaust, I will need to know what kind of aftermarket exhaust you have.

I have attached a photo of Curt trailer hitch # C11389 installed on a 2014 Lexus IS 250 for you to check out.

If you intend to do some light towing you will want wiring harness # C56142. The recommended ball mount is # C45521 and you can use hitch ball # 19256 or # 19258.

If you will be using the hitch for accessories such as a bike rack, Curt advises using stabilizer strap # 18050. The strap is designed to reduce some of the stress on the trailer hitch.
