Durable Acrylic Enamel Finish
This wheel has a durable acrylic enamel finish on the front. The finish is applied after the wheel goes through an environmentally safe zinc phosphate pre-treatment and is coated with an e-coat primer layer. Compared to powder coat finishes, this finish resists getting chipped from flying road debris or scraped from hitting a curb for a longer period of time. These acrylic enamel wheels performed for more than 1,000 hours in salt spray tests.
Improved Torque Retention Technology
The automotive-rated center disc is raised and the stud holes are beveled and uncoated for better clamp force retention. This technology helps the wheel stay tight against your hub without the need for constant retightening.
Determining the Bolt Pattern
The first number in the bolt pattern is the number of bolt holes. The second number denotes the diameter, in inches, of the circle on which the bolt holes sit.
To determine the bolt-circle diameter on wheels with an odd number of bolt holes, measure from the center of any bolt hole to the point halfway between the two bolt holes directly across from the first. (Example: "5 on 4-1/2" means 5 bolt holes with 4-1/2" measured to a point halfway between the opposite bolt holes.)
On wheels with an even number of bolt holes, measure from the center of one bolt hole to the center of the hole directly across from it. (Example: "8 on 6-1/2" means 8 bolt holes with 6-1/2" from the center of one hole to the center of another on the opposite side.)
Measuring the distance from the center of one bolt hole on the wheel to the center of a bolt hole right next to it can also help to determine the bolt pattern.
- If D = 2-5/8", then the bolt pattern is 5 on 4-1/2"
- If D = 2-3/4", then the bolt pattern is 5 on 4-3/4"
- If D = 3", then the bolt pattern is 5 on 5"
- If D = 3-1/4", then the bolt pattern is 5 on 5-1/2"

Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at this Vesper 15 inch by six inch white spoke steel trailer wheel with the five on five inch bolt pattern. Now this is a heavy duty sturdy steel wheel. You can see this one has the spoke design with the nice bright white finish to it. And when I say the spoke design, if you notice, it's the design that has these triangular holes between the spokes, it does use a white acrylic enamel finish to resist chipping and other damage. So it's better than the standard powder coat finishes that are out there.
And this finish is applied after a zinc phosphate pretreatment and it covers an e-coat primer layer. This will give you a nice, excellent corrosion resistance with a salt spray rating of more than a thousand hours. This does use the beveled stud holes, which will help keep the wheel securely in place on the trailer hub, eliminates the need for constant re-tightening of your lug nuts. Also, if you notice right over here, you can see the valve stem is installed, that is included. Now it does not come with the center cap.
If you do want to have a center cap, we do sell those separately on a website. I would recommend to get the center cap that has a diameter of 3.31 inches. That's the diameter of this pilot hole here, that your center cap would go through. This wheel does meet the SAE J1204 standards. Few dimensions on this, we're gonna measure the diameter.
This is 15 inches and that's always measured inside to inside. So if we basically take our tape measure and you can see you go inside to inside, there's your 15 inch measurement, full diameter and the width is also measured inside to inside or bead seat to bead seat. So you're right at six inches for the width. Now the bolt pattern on this wheel is a five on five inch bolt pattern. And if you wanna measure that on a wheel that's an odd number of lugs, in this case, five lugs, it's a little bit harder because the lug holes are not directly across from each other.
So to measure, what you'll do is pick any hole, let's say this hole, and then you're gonna measure across to either one of these holes. But when you measure it's from the center of the starting hole to the furthest edge of the hole that you measure to. So if you measure from this hole to this hole, you'll start here at the center of it and go to the furthest edge, it'll measure five inches. So that means it's a five on five inch bolt pattern. This wheel does use a wheel lug size of the half inch by 20, and the weight capacity on this wheel is 2,835 pounds. But that should do it for the review on the Vesper 15 inch by six inch white spoke steel trader wheel with the five on five inch bolt pattern..
