Does Having Play Between the Bike and the Adapter Bar Matter When Installing on a Bike Rack

Question:

When I look at various adapter bars for womens bikes, I see a lot of play in the connectors around the seat post and the handle bar post. How is this play taken up or is it left as loose as I see it? Thanks,

With adapter bars like the Swagman Easy Out Adapter Bar part # 64005 there will be a small amount of play between the adapter and where it attaches to the bike. They were made like this so that installation and removal would be easy, it has yet to be a problem that we are aware of and we sell a ton of adapters like the # 64005.
