Question:
What is the shipping weight on a e43SR axle?

Welcome back Paul. The Trailer Axle w/ Electric Brakes item # e43SR has a 100.3 lbs shipping weight.
The Trailer Axle w/ Electric Brakes item # e43SR is a 3,500 lbs capacity axle with electric brakes and hubs with a 5 on 4-1/2 lug nut pattern. The axle has a 89" hub face and 74" spring center dimensions. Also included are new lug nuts and grease caps.
I recommend picking up two of the Lippert U-Bolt and Nut Kit for 3,500-lb Trailer Axles item # LC27RP and two of the U-Bolt Plate item # TRTP238175. The U-Bolts on your current axle will need to be replaced when you install the Trailer Axle w/ Electric Brakes item # e43SR. The bolts and nuts are only meant to be torqued down upon the initial installation. The hardware likes to fatigue and bend so you won't be able to torque the old ones to the right specs.
The Lippert U-Bolt and Nut Kit for 3,500-lb Trailer Axles item # LC27RP should be torqued between 45 ft/lbs and 70 ft/lbs.
What kind of trailer do you have and what happened to your axle that has you needing to replace it? Feel free to answer this and throw in any other questions you have, where it says Add Comment.
