Question:
I am having a new flatbed built for my 2010 Ford Ranger. I have a camper that I place on the bed and the camper covers the truck lights when traveling with the camper installed. As on my old truck, I will connect the truck lighting and power to the camper via a cable and two 7 pin connectors. The extra pins will supply 12V DC to the camper. What LED lights would you suggest for the flatbed? What LED lights would you suggest for the camper?

I would recommend the Sealed, 6-1/2 inch Oval LED Trailer Stop, Turn and Tail Light, 10 Super Diode, item # STL72RB, for both the truck bed and the trailer. To mount these lights you will need a Trailer Light Mounting Bracket for 6-1/2 inch Oval Trailer Lights, item # BK70BB, and a Rubber Grommet, item # A70GB. To wire the lights you will need either the straight Pigtail, item # A45PB, or a the right angle Pigtail, item # A47PB. I have used these lights on a car hauler and they work excellent and are very bright.
To wire the 7-way connector you can use our 7-Way brake controller wiring kit, item # ETBC7, which includes all of the wire, connectors, circuit breakers, mounting bracket, and connectors needed. You will also need a trailer end connector, item # PK12706.
I have provided a link to all of our LED trailer lights for you to review.
