Curt Trailer Hitch 15801 on 2018 Ram 2500 with Ranch Hand Legend Bumper

Question:

Will this hitch work with my Ranchhand legend rear bumper on my 2018 RAM 2500 Crew Cab 6'4" Its an awful oversight by any buyer such as myself that you lose almost all towing capacity with the installation of this Ranchhand bumper. Ranchhands solution of the accessory receiver plate so you can place a height adjustable hitch is absurd on 3/4 – 1 ton trucks as tongue weight is reduced to 500lbs!! Thanks

I went to the warehouse to measure the brackets of Curt hitch # C15801 and found it was approximately 8-1/2" from the top of the brackets to the top of the receiver tube (see accompanying photo).

So the fit will depend on how much room there is from the bottom of your 2018 Ram 2500's frame where the hitch installs to the bottom of your Ranch Hand Legend Bumper. You will need to measure that distance, and If the measurement is less than 8-1/2" the Curt # C15801 will fit your truck because the receiver tube will fit below your bumper.
