I ordered this receiver on sunday 12/20/20, i was informed it shipped sunday afternoon, it showed up wednesday 12/2320 during a snow storm! I was able it install it over the weekend and it is a beast and a perfect fit.

Hitch fits well and I’m happy with the included hardware. The instructions left out a few minor details but nothing a reasonably intelligent person can’t figure out. This hitch is much better than the factory hitch.
STANDARD TRAILER HOOKS DO NOT FIT ON THE HITCH!!! Unbelievable. Hopefully someone with half a brain and basic experience designs the next one. Waste of money.
The customer service is great. A local vendor delivered 3 wrong hitch receivers to me. I decided to take a chance on ordering online and was concerned that I would start down a rabbit hole all over again. Instead I was put at ease that etrailer had the solution. I purchased a 2019 Ford F350 Platinum SRW, to discover at a later date that the aftermarket hitch was rated 3,000 lbs than the truck's rating. After I stopped swearing, I ordered this Curt Commercial Duty hitch. It is clearly much sturdier than the original and I now feel confident while towing my toyhauler. Removing the original hitch required an impact air wrench, but was straight forward. Installation of the Curt hitch was straight forward as well, but required a pretty hefty torque wrench to get the proper torque. Overall the Installation was not difficult and I am very pleased with the hitch. Etrailer provided accurate information, a great price and quick delivery.
Well built. Easiest to drop spare tire to install. Be ready for the torque required to install. It would be a better product if they would pre cut holes for the factory harnesses. I had to replace a factory hitch that wore out, this doesn't support the center of the bumper like the factory. Makes the bumper flimsy in the center.

Glad to hear you are mostly liking it, Richard! Sorry to hear it doesn't support the bumper like the factory hitch though. That is the first time I have had anyone say that, so I will mention it to Curt to see if they can work something into the hitch in the future. What are you going to be towing?
Super sturdy, great fit. Knocked a star for a few things 1) there's no holes for tying up all the electrical wires that attach to the factory hitch meaning having to figure out stick-on solutions or tying up out of the way. Not major but annoying. 2) wish the hardware was similar to factory with the double retained nuts. The plates and bolts work but not as easy to install. 3) install isn't difficult, but it does take a lot longer than the instructions if you're removing a factory hitch. Between spare tire, all the fiddly push in wire holders and bolts that need penetrating oil and a strong impact wrench plan on at least 3 hrs if you're doing this with a floor jack on the ground.

Year later - extremely happy. Far more sturdy than the factory hitch and absolutely zero complaints.
Original hitch on my truck was pounding out the pin holes. That's just no good. Looked the hitch receiver over an determined that an aftermarket receiver was more appropriate to my needs.
Stout. Way stouter than the factory hitch receiver it replaced. All the bolt holes lined up. It fits as well as, if not better than, factory. We did have to use air tools to break the factory fasteners loose. We did have to remove the bumper to disconnect one wire connector. The original hitch receiver had hole punched to hook the wiring into, this did not. No issues using zip ties on the wiring harness(es). But, the quality of the fasteners supplied more than made up for a couple of holes.
Great service from etrailer, and a great product from Curt. Even the UPS guy was good. I'm getting so etrailer is my "go to" people for parts.

One year in and the receiver hitch is still working splendidly. It still appears new if you subtract miscellaneous road grime and grit. I still consider this a major upgrade from the factory receiver. Worth the time, effort, and money. Buying from eTrailer was also a wise decision.
My factory hitch pin hole wore out on my 2017 f250 after pulling my travel trailer in just 2 years. I needed an after market replacement that was built to withstand the punishment of a travel trailer that at times exceeds 12,000 pounds after my wife loads her necessities for our vacation travels. This hitch is a beast that will give you the confidence needed to tow like the truck was meant to. Bottom line it eliminated a weak link.
