Can You Increase the Height of TP86KR With D-Brackets?

Question:
On this sofa, can you use the d-type brackets to increase height for use with a floor that has a wheel well? I have a jackknife sofa that has bars on it to increase the height as there is a wheel well in the unit. The sofa sits on original manufactured blocks to match the wheel well. Your thoughts are greatly appreciated.

Hey Paul!
Yes, the D-style brackets included with the Thomas Payne Jackknife Sofa # TP86KR can be used with a raised mounting surface like the factory blocks you already have for your wheel well.
The brackets themselves are not really meant to add height to the sofa, but they can be mounted to an existing platform or block setup. So if your current manufactured blocks are still solid and give you the clearance you need over the wheel well, you should be able to reuse them and mount the # TP86KR to those.
I would just compare the height and depth of your existing mounting area to the new sofa before ordering to make sure the wheel well will still clear underneath.
