Replacement Gray Knob for Yakima OnRamp XL Bike Rack Cradle

Question:
hello. I have a Yakima on ramp xl ebike rack. My 2nd retention cradle Y27TR for a 2nd bike is missing the grey knob. Do you sell only this part? Thanks.

Hi CT,
Sadly, we don’t carry the gray knob by itself for your Yakima OnRamp XL. To replace that missing knob, you’ll need the complete Replacement Cradle and Strap for Yakima OnRamp Electric Bike Racks, part # Y27TR.
I know replacing the whole cradle just to get one little knob isn’t ideal, but Yakima doesn’t currently offer that knob to us as a separate replacement part. Is the rest of your cradle still in good shape?

Our car was in a total frontend accident in Aug 2025. The collision stress broke the straps and cradle on the bike rack. Since it was a frontend collision the rack itself was fine and I ordered new straps and cradle to replace the broken ones. They have worked perfect since 2025. I had ordered 4 straps and 2 cradles to replace the broken ones (cradle included the knob you mentioned)

Thanks for the reply. I need to place my larger order soon, just waiting to solve this missing knob problem. Yes, the cradle is new but is missing the knob.
