Will B&W Companion Slider Fit 2027 Ford F-350 Short Bed With Puck System
Updated 08/07/2026 | Published 07/31/2026 >
Question:
My wife and I want to get the BW Companion sliding fifth wheel hitch for Ford puck system for our 2027 F350 Super Duty 6-3/4 bed, but you do not list it when ing the 2027. Is there any reason to expect that the 2027s wont accept it?

Hey John! I can confirm that the B&W Companion OEM 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w Slider for Ford Towing Prep Package # BWRVK3370 will fit your 2027 F-350. It may have not been listed as a fit because of the way you navigated to the page, but we have already confirmed there are no changes in the prep package for the 2027 models so the same hitch will fit. The Companion is one of the best options out there, you're going to be really happy with that setup on your new truck!
What kind of 5th wheel are you towing and where are you headed once you get your new hitch?

John, The hitch fit my 2026 F350 6.7L Hi Output Diesel with the factory fifth wheel towing package. I installed it by myself and to get it in the bec I made some a ramp and some “skis”. After it was in the bed I disassembled the ramp and made it into a table tailgate height with wheels and still use the skis. Piece of cake removing it from bed. I installed the pivot arms on top holes which worked out ok but next hookup moving trailer in yard I will take some measurements and perhaps lower one hole. Highly recommend the hitch. I have some photos but can’t see where to add.

Hi John. I have a 2023 10k 5th wheel RV and a Superduty with over 16k miles towing and 200 nights camping. I am very happy with my B&W Companion hitch that uses the puck system by Ford. It was easy to assemble and install but a little on the heavy side for weight. I like the positive locking hitch system and its ease of use when hooking up and unhooking (in my early 60s I use the trucks side step to reach the hitch levers and safety pin but can’t talk to your situation). I have only used the slider a few times but it was nice to have in those tight turns when I needed it. My only issue would be the same for all 5th wheel hitches, finding that sweet spot for trailer height when hooking / unhooking up by eyeball as many campgrounds are not flat side to side and front to back. Overall a great product and I would highly recommend it as a 5th wheel hitch. Safe travels.
