Looking to purchase the Demco sliding 5th wheel hitch. We just got a 2016 f250 with the puck system. Does the Demco come with the puck rail adapter? Or do i need to purchase that seperately?

Hey Nicholas, congratulations on the new truck! The correct hitch for your puck system is the Demco Autoslide 5th Wheel Hitch w/ Slider # DM8550024. This is comes with the adapter plates to fit the Ford factory prep. The one you were looking at was designed to fit industry standard rails so it wouldn't work for your setup.

Hay Nicholas I was going thru the same process a few months ago with all the choices everything I needed came with the fifth wheel if you have the factory Puck system. I just called Etrailer and verified my make and model of my truck and haven’t looked back since. This thing is Awsome don’t have to worry about any sharp turns or backing up sharp love it once I got my adjustment for my pin box dialed in. Only thing I would have done differently is ordered the lift adapter that locks in the jaw at the same time because it is a beast to take in and out by hand. Well built solid piece of machinery not something you will worry about loosing your rig.
