Using PullRite SuperGlide 4100 with Industry Standard Rails

Updated 07/27/2026 | Published 07/21/2026

Question:

I have the old pullrite superglide 4100 out of my old truck. Bought a newer 2017 f350. So I bought the custom no drill brackets and super rails kit that fit my truck. Now the new rails are 22” apart and my hitch is 21” or so. After hrs online I have found I have what is referred as a legacy superglide. Will the pull rite 4409 adaptor fit the older hitch and since etrailer doesn’t use pullrite part numbers what kit is it? Thanks

Hey Allen,

Thanks for your question. There were two different versions of the PullRite 4100. One mounted to industry standard rails and the other utilized a PullRite specific mounting system. Based on the 21" measurement you gave, yours would have used the PullRite specific system. Our part # PUL98VR is PullRite's part 4409, and is the adapter that will allow you to mount your PullRite 4100 series hitch into your 2017 Ford F350 using the # PUL24RR you've already purchased.

What type of fifth wheel are you towing? Have any trips planned for the summer?
