I have a jeep wrangler with a scooter carrier on it my problem is that I can’t open my back gate because the spare tire hits my carrier I need something to drop the carrier about an inch or two.

Hey Zoey. To drop your scooter carriers height, I recommend the Yakima FlipFlop High-Low Adapter item # Y64MX. It'll lower your Jeep's 2" receiver connection by 2-1/8". The shank has a built in anti-rattle wedge that will keep your scooter carrier from moving around inside your Jeep's 2" receiver. It also comes with a locking hitch pin to secure it from theft.
The Yakima FlipFlop item # Y64MX has a 350 lbs weight capacity. It fits a 2" hitch receiver and extends out 7-1/4" from your vehicle's hitch pin. This adapter can only be used for accessories. You can not tow with it.
