Question:
Hi, do you have a 7 pin kit for a 2026 toyota grand highlanderMax? Does this vehicle already have a harness for this option? Note: car already has factory hitch and 4 pin connector. The goal is to install a brake controller, preferably a wireless. Thank you, Gary

Hey Gary! You will need a universal kit to install a 7-way on your 2026 Grand Highlander. An aftermarket plug and play is not something that is available. If you're using the Curt Echo # C51180, the 7-Way RV Upgrade Kit for Trailer Brake Controller Installation # ETBC7L has everything you need to complete your setup.
This kit comes with the adapter and wire for the 12V circuit to power the brake controller. It does not have the traditional blue brake output wire required for an in-cab controller since it isn't necessary for that kind of setup.
What trailer are you towing with your Grand Highlander?

I installed the 7-way kit and use the Echo. I’m in a 2026 Jeep grand Cherokee L and Plulling a 26’ toy hauler. 7way is supper easy to install. Ground and 12+ wiring included. Easy and works great

Gary, I have the 2024 Grand Highlander. I was disappointed that the OEM tow package doesn't have seven pin wiring pre installed. I now use the universal 4 to 7 pin kit along with the Curt Wireless brake controller. I works just fine. See my other posts regarding how I mounted the 7 pin universal kit so that it doesn't hang low.
