Trailer Hitch Recommendation for 2026 Toyota RAV4 SE Plug In

Id like to order a trailer hitch and wiring harness for the my 2026 Toyota RAV4 SE Plug-in but the harness you offer is custom and the directions are very generic and dont clearly identify the wiring connections for my car nor the mode to be used. In face the examples are for other cars. Im more than capable of installing the hitch Ive done several hitches Ive bought from you before, but Im not keen on the trial and error approach. Do you have specific instructions for my car? What would be much better is harness with T connectors. I want to install this myself.

Hey James, I checked with our trailer wiring manufacturers just now to verify if they have anything custom fit for your vehicle but at this time they still do not. Only option right now is a universal option like the part # C59236 that you referenced. Your vehicle is going to be pretty popular so I would be surprised actually if they don't come out with a custom fit option sooner than later.
I don't know if you have a hitch picked out already but the Curt # C34FR62ZY is a really great option that fits. It's got great towing capacities and only has hitch opening hanging below bumper so it's mostly hidden.
