Question:
Looking at upgrading current Grand Design power convertor to Progressive Dynamics PD79RR model. You are recommending upgrading 12v wiring to 6 gauge. Will the PD79RR connectors accept 6 gauge wire?

Hey Tom! Yes, the Progressive Dynamics 9300 Series RV Converter Charger # PD79RR can use 6 gauge wire. The maximum size for those connections is 4 AWG. If you had to use something even larger it is possible to adapt it if need be, but that won't be necessary for your setup.
Are you upgrading to lithium batteries or was it just time for the old converter to be replaced?
