Updated 02/18/2025 | Published 02/12/2025

Question:

Hey, Can i use the PD 9300 series 12v 30 amp RV converter charger to plug into the 110 volt recepticle on the Bluetti AC 200 elite power station and then wire the converter to to a small blue sea panel for 12 volt devices? Lights,12 volt fridge etc. What size wire should i use from the 30 amp converter to the panel ? This is in a Transit Van. Thanks for your help.

Hello Bob,

Yes, you can plug the Progressive Dynamics 9300 12V 30A converter charger # PD49RR into the 110V outlet on your Bluetti AC200 Elite and wire it to your Blue Sea panel for 12V devices. Use 10 AWG wire (or 8 AWG for longer runs over 10 feet) from the converter to the panel, and install a 40A fuse or breaker for protection. You should install the 40A breaker between the Progressive Dynamics 9300 converter charger and the Blue Sea panel as close to the converter as possible. This protects the wiring and panel from overcurrent damage in case of a short circuit or overload.

Are you currently turning your Transit Van into a camper, or just adding the converter charger or changing one out?
