Hey Michael,

Thank you for your question.

The Replacement Fan Blade for Ventline Vanair Trailer Roof Vent # BVD0217-00 is designed to fit Ventline motors that use a knurled motor shaft, such as the Replacement Motor # BVD0218-00.

Older Ventline vent motors used a D-shaped shaft, but those motors have been discontinued and are no longer available.

If your vent motor has the older D-shaped shaft and you need to replace the fan blade, you'll also need to replace the motor with # BVD0218-00, since the current replacement fan blade is only compatible with the newer knurled-shaft design.

What sort of setup are you running your roof vent in?

Mine is a 2019 Airsteam Nest and it has the knurled shaft so I think this is the ticket. Thanks for the help.

I use this motor on a 2018 airstream fan and it worked very well. The knurled shaft worked well with a new fan blade. I coated the new fan blade with a clear UV protectant spray since the fan blades have deteriorated due to the UV light

@PeterF Glad to hear this worked well for you! Adding the UV protectant spray is great advice as the tends to degrade the fan blades over time. Do you remember what type of UV protectant spray you used?
