Hello, I am looking for a recommendation for reverse lights to add to my utility trailer. Something that is mountable and not a flush .

Hi Michael, if you're looking for a surface mount light instead of a flush mount, I recommend the TecNiq LED Trailer Tail Light with Stop, Tail, Turn, and Reverse functions, Part # TN75XR. Since it mounts to the outside of the trailer, you won't have to cut a large opening in the trailer body, making it a great option for adding reverse lights without a more involved installation.

One thing I really like about this light is that it combines your stop, tail, turn, and reverse functions into a single housing while using premium LEDs rated for up to 100,000 hours, so you don't have to worry about changing bulbs. It also draws very little power, making it easy on your trailer's electrical system. The light measures 7-1/2 inches long, 3-3/8 inches tall, and 1-5/8 inches deep, with mounting holes spaced 7 inches horizontally and 2-3/4 inches vertically, so I recommend comparing those dimensions to your current lights to make sure it will fit your trailer.

In order to determine the torque rating for the lug nuts on your trailer you will need to know check out the chart I attached that shows all of the torque specs for all the trailer lugs available based on stud size, wheel material and wheel size.
