Thanks for reaching out Craig, happy to help!

Yes, the Soft Start Kit for Coleman-Mach RV Air Conditioners
# CM56RR is compatible with the Coleman-Mach 3 (8333E8564). I reached out to Coleman directly for confirmation.

Do you typically camp on hookups or do you run a generator with the eagle?

Hi Craig, I've installed 3 of the soft starts on my rigs. The first was straight forward, but the other two models were not listed on the spec sheet. The soft starts are little more than capacitors, but the people at Coleman-Mach were very helpful with matching up my units with the soft starts and sent the wiring diagrams. They were so easy to install and work so well I can run my 40' 5W on 110 v. Of course I also installed a Power-Watch-Dog and have the AC s on separate circuits. Before I ordered my Soft Starts, I went to Google and typed in essentially the same question you initially asked. Best of luck.

Installed this Soft Start on my Coleman A/C unit in about 30 minutes. This was the first one I've ever installed. Watched a couple of videos and went to work. Easy install and worked perfectly. Glad I made the install.

@Aaron Nice! The Coleman-Mach Series of AC's are really good. How does the 15k BTU do on the Compass for you?

Craig, Absolutely, I installed the soft start on my unit in March and we just returned from a 3 month trip out west and it worked w/o fail.

@Michael thanks for the insight. Which model do you have? How much do you typically run your AC?
