The description states a measurement of 31.69 inches, for confirmation is that outside edge of the steel or a hole to hole measurement? The holes on my rails are 30inch center to center.

Hey Aaron, this is a great question but the 31.69 inch dimension for the Lippert RV Trailer Hitch # LC28FC that you referenced is the distance between the bolt holes from left to right on center. Have you measured your frame already?

Yes, it is 35" outside to outside, the picture does not show the brackets turning up and attaching on the side. Is the picture wrong for the unit described?
