Looking For Electric Jack Replacement For 2010 Jayco Jayfeather 19H

Question:
Well i need a new trailer jack for my 2010 Jayfeather19h. Looking for info on electric. what i need and what is available to fit? Purchased one from fleet farm just to get the truck free so im not towing to get to work. But the height did not even get high enough to get the hitch off the ball without blocks. Im looking into it but thought maybe you would already know what specks i need. Any help would be really helpfull.

Hey Blake, thanks for reaching out. We should definitely have an electric jack for you, but I don't have a way to look up your camper online to know exactly which one will fit. RV manufacturers just aren't that specific with their online literature.
Basically the big thing we'll need to nail down is the coupler height on your trailer, and the amount of lift you need.
A very popular option that works on most trailers is the Lippert Electric Trailer Jack # LC285318. It has 18" of total lift.
When fully retracted, the foot hangs down 10-3/4" below the trailer frame. Then fully extended, it drops down to 28-3/4". I edited a picture to help illustrate.
I suggest comparing these measurements to the trailer and the current jack setup and make sure this has enough range of movement to get the coupler up off the ball on your truck.
How much extension does the current jack have?

I have a 28 ft travel trailer and a f 150 Lariat, so she set better high and have no problem hooking up and removing it off my truck. I told etrailer what I had and I had no problem.My jack lifted 15 1/4 “ I hope this helps.

Blake, Sounds very familiar. On my previous trailer I replaced the hand crank jack with this one, and once, did not raise it up enough and bent it. Replaced it with same one and depending on terrain i sometimes have to use a 4x4 to get it high enough. When on a severe down slope, I cannot use a 4x4 as it will not let me level trailer from front to back when disconnected. In general I use a 4x4 but I have to check and not use it when the ground rises up as it is a real pain to remove the 4x4 after disconnecting but not impossible. My current trailer has this same one, so I know the drill.

My new Lipert Electric jack works perfectly. It was easy to swap out, and has been flawless. I would purchase it again with zero concerns.

I installed the lipert electric jack about a year ago on a 38 foot travel trailer and have a Ram 2500 with a 6 inch lift. The jack works great and was easy to install. I do put a 6x6 block under the jack but that is because I don't like having the jack extended to far out. But it does extend far enough without the block to get on and off the hitch.

This is what i found on the internet for a Jayco 19h exp. Lift 3500 Total lift stroke -23" to 25" Screw travel 18" to 19.5 Drop leg 5" to 5.5" Retracted bracket -9 Extended height -28.5 Foot plate 5.5 Not sure what screw travel is? And is total lift -23 lowering after removed from truck? To 25" going up from truck?
