Question:

I need an 18” 4 Flat Trailer extension for a Stowaway2 Box I purchased. My wife would like it so it is in a sheath of black rubber to match the original cord. Does Curt or Hopkins have this and if so can you tell my how I order one from you? Thanks…. Dave

Hey David, thanks for reaching out. We do have an 18" long 4-flat extension, but we don't have anything with a black rubber cord. If I were you, I'd just use the extension, then slip some wire loom over the wires. That'll give it the cleaner cord-like look your wife is looking for. Here is what I recommend:

- TowSmart Wire Loom, 3/8" Diameter, 10' Long # TS49QR

It doesn't look like Curt or Hopkins make one, so this TowSmart one will be your best bet. Just do the wire loom and wrap it in a bit of electrical tape and you'll be good to go.

What will you and your wife use the StowAway2 box for mostly? Trips, tailgates, or camping?
