Hello, I have a Thule Motion XT XXL rooftop cargo box Model 629906 / 6299. One of the front lid lifters has failed. The plastic guide/hinge portion broke and the lid is no longer supported on that side. I am looking for a replacement Lid Lifter assembly and would appreciate your help identifying the correct part. The information I have found online suggests it may be: * Thule Lid Lifter Kit ML120 * Part 14958 * Part 1500014958 Could you please confirm whether this is the correct replacement part for a Thule Motion XT XXL 629906? If this part is no longer available, do you offer: * an alternative replacement part, * a compatible substitute, or * a repair kit that would work with this model? Thank you for your assistance. Hey Howon, thanks for the information. I checked with Thule and the Replacement Lid Lifter Hinge item # TH93VA is the correct one. It is sold individually and can be used to replace either the front or rear hinge on your Thule Motion XT XXL cargo box 629906/6299.

I bought the TH93VA for my Thule XXL and it fit perfectly. Very easy to replace took all of 5 min.

I got the TH93VA to replace a broken hinge on my Thule Force XL 625 and it popped right into place and works perfectly.

Hi Jerred, Thank you for confirming with Thule. I went ahead and ordered the TH93VA replacement hinge. The original hinge failed when the plastic guide inside the lid lifter assembly broke during normal use. The cargo box is approximately 5–6 years old and has otherwise been working great. I appreciate you taking the time to verify the correct replacement part for my Motion XT XXL (629906/6299). Thanks again for your help.
