Replacement Front Lid Lifter Hinge for a Thule Force XT XL Cargo Box

Question:

I have the Thule Force XT XL and need both the front and rear lift supports. Thule website states their part numbers are 1500014956 for the front and 1500054110 for the rear. Which one does this TH93VA part fit, front or rear? Can I get 2 for both front and rear? If not, which other part do I need?

Hey Qhua. The Replacement Lid Lifter Hinge for Thule Force XT XL and XXL Rooftop Cargo Boxes item # TH93VA will replace both the front and rear hinge.

We do not have the pn 1500054110 for the rear.

What happened to your hinges?

Hey Qhua, did you find a solution for the rear hinge on your Thule Force XT XL? I'm asking because your experience could help others facing the same issue.

@JerredH, No, even Thule is backordered until October. If I can even get it through them I will get both front and back just for ease of shopping. I need both to function otherwise the cargo is just junk.

@Qhua I got some new information I think you're going to like since you sent your original question. The Replacement Lid Lifter Hinge item # TH93VA works to replace the front and rear hinge on the Thule Force XT XL. You don't have to wait anymore because that original 1500054110 hinge is not coming back.

@JerredH YES! These worked for both front and rear replacement. I posted a review on the product and pictures as well. Thule does not have them anymore for parts replacement even though they say they will get some at a latter date.
